OMG the Redskins win!

I can not believe it! The skins actually won today - whoo hoo. For once we actually kept the lead all the way through the fourth quarter and closed the deal. Hooray...it was getting really sad watching every sunday only to see our team lose, week after week after week. Maybe there is some time left to have a few Sunday game parties!! ( i guess i may be getting ahead of myself - but here's for wishful thinking !)

What a disappointment in Tiger Woods...

Oh my goodness.... i think i may officially now have information overload when it comes to the whole Tiger Woods saga. I often make the mistake of leaving CNN on while I am working and the last week it has just been Tiger Woods drama back to back. It just keeps looking worse and worse for him every single day - and I have to say I am disappointed! I loved Tiger! Not only because he is so awesome at golf and amazing to watch, but also because he seemed like a real good guy - he seemed to have so much poise, character, so much focus, dedication....etc....he made you look up to him - ugh....i guess all fairy tales must come to an end.

A day for history

Nomally, i try to work in quiet and certainly without a TV on. Today however, my TV has been on since 7 am and although I am trying to get some "work" done, I find it hard to peel my eyes away from the screen as I watch this historic ceremony, as our 44th President is sworn in to office. What an amazing sight, all of the people who traveled down to the mall to be there on this occasion - people packed in as far as you can see, as well as on rooftops and office terraces and balconies near by, just to bear witness , in person, to this event! Living and working in the Washington DC metro area I have a real appreciation of how many people that really is - I have walked that mall many times, driven down Constitution all the way to the Capitol , it really is a huge area! I just feel so inspired and proud to see how our country is coming together and excited about its leadership, never in my lifetime have i ever seen anything like this, and i am just happy I lived to see it.
